Donte’ Smith, MPH

Community Clinical Liaison

Donte’ is a public health professional that has experience in research, community outreach, and social services. She comes to Inside Edge armed with a variety of experience ranging from the healthcare sector to public health services. Her career has included evaluation, relationship building, and project management, focused around health equity and bridging the gap between health resources and marginalized families. As a New Orleans native, she is passionate about health equity, providing resources, and creating a safe and healthy environment for individuals to thrive and lead a healthy and hopeful life. Prior to joining Inside Edge, Donte’ led a host of COVID-19 vaccine sites, practiced, and implemented infection control to ensure a safe working environment. In addition, she educated staff on compliance issues and assisted in the development and presentation of compliance related training materials. As a public health professional, she has centered community, resources, and care. Donte’ has provided aid around healthcare needs, from tackling technology disparities for families to access basic needs, to connecting them to insurance. Donte’ is eager to contribute to Inside Edge’s vision, and learn and serve.
Donte’ holds a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental Health from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health from the University of Louisville.

What does “Make well known” mean to me?

It means bridging that gap between our clients and our patients and community to aid in improving the life expectancy and quality of life.
