Maya joined our firm as a summer intern in 2021 and 2022, driven by her interest in applying her training in sociology to help address the health and social needs of underserved populations.  In 2023, Maya joined us full time as a Business Analyst, contributing to critical analyses and research that build a foundation of awareness and trust among underserved patients.  Her work enhances patients’ understanding of clinical trials and helps increase access to much needed medicines in these communities.  Leveraging her passion for intersectionality and how it impacts healthcare solutions, she brings a unique lens to community-based efforts to address health disparities.

What does “Make well known” mean to me?

It means creating a space where everyones need can be known and where collaboration is possible to ensure they are met.
