Moreland Murray

Chief People Officer

Moreland Murray is Chief People Officer at Inside Edge Consulting Group, where he partners with the CEO and senior leaders to scale talent, culture, and operations in service of the Inside Edge mission to build trusted connections between communities and medical innovators.

With more than 30 years of leadership across professional and financial services, Moreland has held senior roles at Marsh McLennan and JPMorgan Chase, with earlier experience at USAA and NationsBank. At Marsh McLennan, he served as Corporate Chief People Officer and Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer, building an integrated global DEI organization supporting 87,000 colleagues and earning Brandon Hall Gold for the RISE leadership program. His work spans enterprise talent strategy, leadership development, operating model design, and culture transformation.

Moreland holds an MBA in Labor Relations from the University of Tampa and a BS in Statistics & Economics from SUNY Oneonta. He has been recognized by Savoy among the Most Influential Executives in Diversity & Inclusion (2023) and Most Influential Black Executives (2022).

To me, Make Well Known is a promise to take what improves health and make it trusted, understandable, and accessible—especially in overlooked communities—by showing up locally, listening first, partnering with trusted voices, and translating complex science into clear choices.
